Bebe Parton is an autistic writer who spent nearly twenty years working behind the scenes in litigation support and eDiscovery. It was a world of evidence, timelines, contradictions and people rarely being quite as straightforward as they claimed. Some of that inevitably found its way into her fiction.



She lives with severe social anxiety and writes under a pen name, but the experiences and emotions behind her stories are real. Her debut novel, Humanity 8.0: The Last Administrator, was shaped by grief, complicated families and the loss of someone she would have done almost anything to bring back.

Clementine, the main character in Humanity 8.0: The Last Administrator, is autistic.

I am autistic too, although I was only diagnosed as an adult. By then, I had already spent years wondering why things that seemed easy or natural to other people could be so difficult for me.
