Jason Trama

Jason Trama is a scientist and novelist living in Cream Ridge, New Jersey.

His debut novel, Annin Street, grew out of stories gathered at his mother's kitchen table, back when asking questions was still possible. Set in South Philadelphia, the novel follows a family across generations, exploring the complicated ways memory, place, and the people we love shape our lives.

His second novel, The Quiet, takes a different path, drawing on his scientific background to explore the uneasy territory between neuroscience, human perception, and the paranormal. Though different in setting and subject, both novels share an interest in what people carry with them, what they cannot quite explain, and what remains after everything else has changed.

Trama holds a PhD and has spent much of his professional life in scientific research. He brings the same curiosity about people, their choices, and the things they struggle to understand to his fiction.
