He is the Father of compassion,
And the God of all comfort,
The Lord Almighty does not sleep
Nor does He ever slumber.

He is faithful to those who seek Him,
He makes promises and keeps them,
Your love for us is everlasting,
Your mercy on us is all-surpassing.

No one else can make these claims,
Let the earth rejoice because He reigns!
