A review by Abhay
"Using actual history as a canvas, the author paints an absorbing story of vivid colors, with characters and situations one can relate to, empathize with and care about. This juxtaposition of fact and fiction makes for a compelling read."
"Descriptions of the sights, sounds and smells of the by-lanes of Karachi immediately evoke a synesthetic experience, even if one has never been there. For me, the book combined the crispness of a Ken Follett with the gravitas of a Khalid Hosseini. The author’s descriptions of action are a page-turner."
"...this novel...has everything a reader expects of a good book – relatable characters, immaculate detailing and a well-told story that stays with you long after the last page."

Here what Anvesh has to say about Sakoon on Amazon.com
"It's 2:00am in india now and I just completed second half of the story. But I could not restraint myself from writing another review at this hour as well inspite of having all my energies lost after full day work and 250 km of travel. I would only say it's just great book. I have continuously read balance part of the book for 4 hours while travelling as well as after reaching home without pulling up my head even for second. Must read. Waiting for second. Author has done a great work. Good night."

Here is what D. M. Carey has to say about Sakoon...
"Memorable characters who take turns sharing the stage. Author presents perspective of each, smoothly handling voices and perspectives of men and women, young and old, radical and moderate. Gradually builds tension and suspense as events are set in motion and key players come together in exciting conclusion. Hoping to continue in a Book 2."
