Why are all my reviews 4 or 5 stars?

A note on my reviewing style: I read lots of books, but writing reviews is work and I only really do them to endorse books that I enjoyed enough to signal boost. That's why my reviews are mostly positive. It's not that I like every book ever :P

New contemporary romance between an older man and a bi woman, both Jewish, who meet in symphony orchestra

Lioness in Blue came out ten days ago and has gotten some great reactions since then! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
After last summer, I really wanted to write romance that showed that BOTH participants in a sexy romance novel can be Jewish, instead of one of them being... well, don't ask.

First Oboe Dan Cohen may be twice her age, but Second Oboe Lauren Stern isn't about to let that stand in her way. She's been fantasizing about the man beside her in the symphony, and this might just be the concert where she finally finds out what it's like to feel the scruff of his salt-and-pepper goatee against her skin. If people are going to make intrusive comments about how much older he is, they can get over themselves. Not only is Dan an expert lover who knows how to take care of a woman, but he doesn't want her to be gentle--quite the opposite!

I've been playing music for over thirty years and fantasizing about men like Dan for nearly as long.

The dragon voyeur story is up!

When the Empress sends her Imperial guards Vasily and Aleksei into the dragon's cave to steal treasure, they doubt the existence of the dragon and take advantage of the time alone in the dark to drink vodka and fool around. Little do they know, the dragon is watching Vasily's expert domination, and he likes what he sees! This story is not for children and features a sentient but non-human narrator.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

In other words, a dragon who doesn't get out much watches some big burly guys hooking up in his cave. :P (Also, both the dragon and the Empress are trans.)

New G-rated f/f romance about a lesbian band mom and a music teacher at All-State!

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Presenting "Fearless", about the lifelong rewards of music. Also about ladies kissing.

A newly out-of-the-closet band mom falls for an orchestra teacher while snowed in at All-State. Lana Novak hasn’t played violin in over twenty years, her musical life these days confined to being a devoted band mom to her clarinet whiz daughter Robin. She didn’t think she could get back into it after this long, but Melanie Feinberg, the outgoing, enthusiastic, and very cute butch orchestra director from Robin’s school, has other ideas.

Royalties until June 30 will be donated to my hometown orchestra.

Coming this year: romance between oboe players!

Introducing Lauren, my latest protagonist, and her new silver fox boyfriend Dan. They star in Lioness in Blue, a novelette (longish short story) with a lot of spice but also a lot of heart. BTW they're both Jewish and the MC is bisexual. Add it to your watch list here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

First Oboe Dan Cohen may be twice her age, but Second Oboe Lauren Stern isn't about to let that stand in her way. She's been fantasizing about the man beside her in the symphony, and this might just be the concert where she finally find out what it's like to feel the scruff of his salt-and-pepper goatee against her skin. If people are going to make intrusive comments about how much older he is, they can get over themselves. Not only is Dan an expert lover who knows how to take care of a woman, but he doesn't want her to be gentle--quite the opposite!

Coming 2016.

New erotic short for Chanukah, with fairy threesome and trans rep

"Eitan's Chord"
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
...in which the three Chanukah fairies, Menorah, Latke, and Dreidl, get together for a night of sex in order to bless a young human couple who sleep blissfully unawares.

The human couple are Eitan, a trans man who plays guitar and volunteers for the "trans crisis line" (a reference to Trans Life Line) and Abigail, his cis wife who works retail at the mall and beads in her spare time.

Let's see if the fairies can't make sure Abigail's jewelry finally starts to sell online!

Sweet lesbian contemporary romance coming in January (short story)

I'm so excited that Torquere has accepted "Fearless" into their Snowed In anthology coming this January!

A newly-out-of-the-closet band mom falls for an orchestra teacher while snowed in at All-State.

Lana Novak hasn't played violin in over twenty years, her musical life these days confined to being a devoted band mom to her clarinet whiz daughter Robin. She didn't think she could get back into it after this long, but Melanie Feinberg, the outgoing, enthusiastic, and very cute butch orchestra director from Robin's school, has other ideas.

This is a story about themes very important to me, so I hope y'all like it :)

New short story! Erotic romance, f/f, starring bi Jewish grad student

Isn't this exciting? I've branched out into paranormal erotica--still starring queer Jews.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

"Wet Nails" is the story of Adina, a lonely bi grad student who gets to spend the night with the ghost of her favorite 1950's Hollywood actress, the glamorous, closeted Rose Hamilton.

This is way more explicit than the Mangoverse so BE AWARE :) :P

Adina struggles with dermatillomania, as do I, so part of the story is Rose teaching her how to do her own manicures -- it's the only thing that's ever worked for me in terms of managing it.

Two new short f/f stories, erotic paranormal romance, coming this fall in Torquere Press anthologies!

I'm really excited that Torquere Press has accepted two of my erotic romance shorts into anthologies this fall.

"Wet Nails", coming October 14 in Haunted Hotties, Vol. 1, is about a bi Jewish grad student who's visited by the ghost of her 1950's Hollywood movie star crush.

"Eitan's Chord", coming in December for the Holiday anthology, is the story of how the Chanukah fairies perform miracles for an adorable trans m/cis f couple. (The fairies have a f/f/f spicy scene; the m/f parts are sweet and G-rated.)

The stories will be for sale in the anthologies themselves and also as a separate eBook.

I'm continuing to write more short stories, so hopefully you'll see more announcements like this some day in the future!
