I have been writing since childhood, starting with silly little songs and poems. My parents encouraged me to express myself which I have been able to do through my writing, acting and dancing. I remember in middle school, I won the South Carolina Lt. Governor's Award for writing. I guess that's when I realized, I loved to write.

During the day, my career focuses on supporting nationwide law enforcement programs. In that capacity, I have written hundreds of documents, reports, outreach pieces and proposals. Some of these materials are used throughout the country by our law enforcement community to help support their efforts.

When not at work, my writing world includes fiction stories, articles, plays, lyrics and other forms of writing. I've I have been writing since childhood, starting with silly little songs and poems. When not at work, my writing world includes fiction stories, articles, plays, lyrics and other forms of writing. I've written more than 25 articles for the Tallahassee Woman Magazine. My short-attention-span play, Wild Refuge, was produced by the Atlantis Players and won the Audience Award for most enjoyed production. I was also recognized for my poem, obsession.

Precious little Secrets has been a passion of mine for years and I am proud to finally bring it to you. Work is underway on my next novel, currently titled Red Angel.

I attended Florida State University, graduating with a BA in Business and graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a MA in Public Administration.

I served more than seven years on the Theatre Tallahassee board of directors, including two terms as the president, and supported many of the theatre's committees. I've even been privileged to have walked the planks with some of Tallahassee's best actors. My favorite role so far was Jessie Mae Watts in Trip to Bountiful, which I won best supporting actress.

I've also served on the boards of the LeMoyne Art Foundation, the Tallahassee Women’s Club and multiple homeowners’ associations.

I take dance at The Dance Studio and during the 2012/2013 season had the opportunity to dance with the Company. We performed on the Monarch of the Seas in March 2013 and performed well at the Fusion Dance Competition. One of my favorite pieces, a tap routine named Sisters, received Platinum.

I am grateful to have an amazing and supportive husband. We have three loved furry children - Heidi, Twiggie and Toby. I am also thankful for the support from my family and friends. ...more

Reflecting, Comparing and Toasting - Oh My!
