There is a ton of great advice out there on the internet and every bestselling author will tell you something that works for them but I suppose, you must be hte only one to decide what works best for you.

I usually feel that when I deliberately force myself to write, I might find words but they are usually poor quality and 'forced'.

My writing comes from the heart. I have this problem with the rhythm or flow. When it isn't there, it just isn't.
And when it is, I could be in the bath tub, in the restaurant, walking on the street, and the ideas begin to spring like baby chicks and I desperately look for a paper and pen.

I cannot tell you how many nights, I have been pushing myself to sleep, only to wake up every 2 minutes to scribble an idea on a blank paper in the dark or on my cell phone. (less)

Freedom!
I cannot tell you, how many times I have had to mince my words in real life situations when I witnessed violence, racism, sexism, unfair things people did. But when I reacted, my family and friends would discourage me to speak up so I do not challenge 'the status quo'.

Turns out: that's my hobby, passion and now profession.

Arjun Rawat Dear Book-lover & author,

I viewed your profile and noticed you a good book-reader and penned various books. I am too a writer and recently penned a new fiction named MUGGER. It is focused on corruption, criminalization of politics and various others problems pertaining to society. Its Hindi version too awarded by NHRC for safeguarding human rights. I would appreciate if you read my fiction and apprise me about its deficiencies so that I can make further improvement in my writing. MUGGER is available on paper-back in :- Flipkart, Infibeam, Crossword, uRead, Power-publishers etc. MUGGER will soon be available on e-book through orders.india@partridgepublishing.com.
Regards.

Arjun Singh Rawat
