The Disappearance of Rodman “Shorty” Edwards

While researching for Welcome to Waadizi, Michigan! I read through literally thousands of old newspaper archives from Antrim County, Michigan. I came across this disturbing 1976 article concerning the disappearance of Rodman “Shorty” Edwards, owner of Shorty’s Mobil in Waadizi that is of particular interest.

According to the report, Edwards closed the station one evening and was never seen again.
