I was raised in the Bay Area on a self-imposed study diet of stories of the paranormal, science fiction, fantasy and humor. Always able to glide through English, literature and language classes with little effort, I then suffered near-total brain fry in pre-calc. I also enjoyed programming but realized that, when the slip of a semi-colon can ruin the entire package, an engineering degree was not in the cards. Thus, I entered the video game industry straight out of college and have been writing ever since; during the day hours, it's manuals, strategy guides, marketing copy, website and packaging for video games.
