Life as a young boy for me was filled with adventure!

I grew up in rural Alabama and had all the things that fills a boy’s life with passion: four wheelers, go-carts, and of course my trusty B.B. gun and loyal black lab, Bear. I really had no idea that, like all of us, I was facing challenges that would cause me to question my identity and even my sanity at times.

It has taken years to realize that life is not all about me! It’s about the experiences I have and the people I meet. Those people and experiences lead to doors that open to adventure.

It amazes me that brief encounters and happenstance situations continue to follow me as I journey through life. Some of those inflicted wounds from which the scars still show up in my relationship with

Quotes by Kevin E. Beasley  (?)
Quotes are added by the Goodreads community and are not verified by Goodreads. (Learn more)

“Adventure is about what we do; not what we plan, strategize or dream about. Adventure begins with “what ifs” and “why nots.” “What if I were to step out to chase that dream? Why not take the first steps and see what happens? When we step through the doorway of adventure our life is suddenly worth the living. And we experience life as it was meant to be.”
Kevin E. Beasley, What If...Why Not? Through the Doors of Adventure

“What ifs” are the doorways into new adventures. “Why nots” are the doorknobs. We turn knobs and tug at doors until we find the one that opens for us. The Maker will leave that one unlocked and when we get to the other side, the light will be on and He’ll be waiting with all the resources and help we need to fulfill His best desires for us.”
Kevin E. Beasley, What if...Why not? Walking Through the Doors of Adventure

“When a person is evoked for who she is, not who she is not, the most often result will be the inner healing of her heart through the touch of affirmation.

Jesus said you are to love one another as I have loved you, a love that will possibly lead to the bloody, anguish gift of yourself, a love that forgives seven times seven, that keeps no record of wrong. This is the criterion, sole norm, the standard of discipleship in the New Israel of God.”
Brennan Manning, The Furious Longing of God

“Even though conditions such as lack of sleep, insufficient food and various mental stresses may suggest that the inmates were bound to react in certain ways, in the final analysis it becomes clear that the sort of person the prisoner became was the result of an inner decision, and not the result of camp influences alone.”
Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning

“You don’t have a soul, Doctor. You are a soul. You have a body, temporarily.”
Walter M. Miller Jr., A Canticle for Leibowitz

“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”
Neil Gaiman, Coraline

“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”
C.S. Lewis

Bryan Pentelow Thanks for becoming a friend. This group has been an eye opener for me and I now have contacts across the world. If you can find a moment drop me an email on penworkspublishing@gmail.com and I will send you my current FREE READS which are the first three chapters of my first two books. Also have a look at J D Kaplan's page he has a brilliant piece of free software which checks word frequency in a manuscript.
