I grew up in New York City on the Upper East Side. From an early age, I loved to tell stories and to create a world of make believe.

I first began to write my stories down in second grade, starting with the story of two hamsters and their quest to defeat the other household pet, a snake. From there, I constantly wrote poetry and short stories. Whether sitting in the hallway at school or basking in the summer sun, a book could always be found in my hand.

I attended Ithaca College and earned a Bachelor Degree in Creative Writing.

I currently live in Baltimore and work as an 8th grade English teacher at a Baltimore City Public School. At the moment, I am busy writing the second book in The White Healer series.

1. The sequel to The Darkness of Gold
2. A new adult fiction novel based on my own experiences.

I'll keep you all updated!! I' Read more of this blog post »
