My writing is informed by a twenty-five-year Silicon Valley software engineering career that's led to five patents in wireless voice technology. Thoughts About POV, Genre & Craft

Judging by the extreme reactions to my novel, I thought I should clarify some things.

If your intention is to escape into a formulaic sci-fi world of anthropomorphized cetaceans, or if you're a "take no prisoners" Strunk and White minimalist, don't bother with The Whale Song Translation. However, if you appreciate the mind food that propels a paradigm-busting voyage of discovery, then read on.
