I'm a lifelong story collector and writer. I'm a historian, former professor, and current leadership strategist, career coach, and speaker.

My research and writing explores how people can empower themselves within the complicated systems, socialization, and historical circumstances of their lives.

I'm especially passionate about empowering diverse women. My writing on leadership and motherhood embodies those commitments, and informs all my other work.

I also write poetry because I find it to be a beautiful way to relate to the world and discover my interior voice. Plus, word play:)

A phenomenal middle grade/young adult novel that would easily appeal to adults as well.
