Rachel Ament is a writer and editor living in Washington, DC. She has written for The New York Times, NPR, Teen Vogue, Oxygen Magazine, Moment Magazine, and Mariashriver.com. She was the editor of the book of humor essays "Jewish Daughter Diaries: True Stories of Being Loved Too Much by Our Moms," which features writing by The Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik and The Daily Show's Jena Friedman. Her screenplay "God's Girls," a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl in a Hasidic Jewish community, was a semifinalist in ScreenCraft's Pilot Launch TV Script contest.
