C. K. Lal (b. 1956) is a writer and political analyst from Nepal. In 2010 his play Sapanako Sabiti premiered in then a famous theater named Gurukul. Born in a small village of Suga in Mahottari district in the southern plains of Nepal, he studied civil engineering, public administration, law and urban planning in Nepal and in India. His book Human Rights, Democracy and Governance was published in early 2010 by Pearson, New Delhi. He is also known for his book To Be A Nepalese, published in 2012 by Martin Chautari, Kathmandu.
