We read the classics to contemporary fiction, from Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four to Alderman's The Power and everything in between. All members are welcome to suggest new reads. [close] This group is for anyone interested in learning more about racial and social justice. The books discussed in this group will focus on the history, policies, and current state of inequality in the United States and the world--particularly for Black and Brown communities. Our discussions will not only center around the realities we currently face, but ways we can imagine (and create) a more safe, just, and equitable world for all.

[close] Welcome to "Read to Win the War," a book club for readers of World War II history and fiction, brought to you by The National WWII Museum in New Orleans. Books are selected by the Museum's historians and curators, with roughly one book a month rotating between nonfiction, fiction, and graphic novels, covering a diverse array of topics. Members can participate by joining our ongoing discussion boards and live video events to chat with our museum professionals about each book and topic. We will also post contextual materials to help start the discussions. And when possible, we will try to feature authors and other related figures in our live events!

It involves being open to new ideas and considering multiple perspectives, and using logical reasoning and evidence to evaluate and analyze information.
