Then gift us with the honor of your sophisticated opinions, queries and humor on board our trireme of World, Writing and Wealth and sail the seven seas with us!

[close] Would love to focus on revolutionary authors and historians, social justice movements, politics philosophy and more. Whether that is through fiction or nonfiction, does not matter. Books that are eye opening and discuss things that arent directly taught. Pretty much anything is welcome if anyone wants to present a specific book please feel free to include it here. The hope is to achieve deeper understanding and engaging communication through books but also through each other, we all have different strengths and backgrounds of knowledge and information, we learn most from each other.

[close] Radical Reading is a new GR bookclub group dedicated to nonfiction books on various topics from a progressive, liberating, anti-racist, feminist and queer perspective. We have buddy reads and an active discussion board, where we talk about the books we read, exchange ideas or just have fun. Our goal is to engage in lively, productive and respectful conversations to expand our horizon and become an advocate/activist for positive societal change. The range of nonfiction books we read and discuss is wide, covering genres such as history, economy, art, sociology or politics. Our group is still new and thus a work in progress, however we gladly welcome new members! Please read the guidelines for a membership request. Guidelines for requesting membership 1) Prospective members must have an active public profile; a request from an inactive and non-public profile is rejected 2) We have mandatory questions you must answer when you apply 3) Authors are welcome; however self-promotion is not allowed 4) We may reject an application if we feel that the person is not joining in good faith, e.g. just here to provoke, troll or spread hateful content; or for the reasons stated under 1) and 2)
