Christina Tran is a lifelong animal lover and cat owner. Growing up in Kansas, her family even had dogs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and goats. When Christina first moved to Chicago and had no pets of her own, she adopted professional pet care as a second career. She thoroughly enjoys the ongoing contact with meeting wonderful animals and other like-minded animal people! Her cat, Cassidy, was the inspiration for her first children's book "Cat Cabby".

Christina worked for several years as an editor and designer at a children's publishing company. She enjoys writing and sharing her love of animals in the form of poetry and storytelling with others.
