At the end of each school year, my husband and I take our family to a great camping spot called "Coolendel", on the banks of the Shoalhaven River. We've just returned from a relaxing long weekend there. Time to re-charge the batteries before the rush of Christmas festivities. It's a great spot where the wombats come out to graze from late afternoon, hot days see goannas wandering around, and this year the peacocks had a couple of chicks and we saw possums and one of the wallabies had a joey in its pouch. Just a fabulous venue for anyone doing a camping trip to Australia!
Now it's back to reality...a few days of speech therapy work, and edits due on my next novel "Echoes of the Heart" by January 15th for an April 1st release date!
