Mother's Day 2021
Those concerned with the fight against disease know that our bodies are designed to overcome disease processes before they become established. Our systems are readily disrupted by toxins and an absence of sufficient quantities of nutrients. - Nutritional Cancer Therapy Trust
Healing in its truest form, energy, can be invoked through different techniques, if the energy that is used operates at a frequency that can aid your body in healing itself. Traditional healing practitioners understand this and have made use of energy from healing plants, touch, celestial bodies, water, music/sound, and more. To engage our electrical-mechanical-biological-energetic bodies healing, it is wise to start with the heart, our seat of consciousness. It has the capacity to transmit healing frequencies to the cells within us and energetic entities (everything including rocks emit electromagnetic radiation/forces) around us.
Our individual and collective healing is intertwined since we are interconnected and come from the same source. We have been disconnected from each other, Nature, and the energy source from which we came. This planned disconnect is losing its grip as more people are being led by their steadfast, loving, interconnected hearts and less by their fearful, reptilian brain.
On this Mothers Day, at this present moment and time, and the moments that emanate from your thoughts that become manifested by the multi-Verse, may your actions be guided by great feelings of love. And as mothers, nurturers, of us individually and collectively, take time to fully love yourself unconditionally, and then take action with your heart to heal yourself and help those around you to heal, as well as the land you frequent or call home.
Healing the root cause of our dis-ease can be done, as our bodies have an innate ability to heal. Dr. Sebi and others like him have been killed to keep this knowledge from getting out. De-centralized healing centers using Nature, sound therapy, herbal baths, sweats/saunas, meditation, healing plants, and more, so that we can work together to heal physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually.
Since what ails us has commonalities but what works for me may not help you, I am including below a wide variety of resources to help you on your journey/path to healing.

Spring Reflections
Today the Sun is at a 90° angle in the sky
giving us an equivalent amount of light and darkness. The
light we see and are often in tune with it, however, the darkness
is often feared because of the unknown that lurks in it. In
unlearning fear + hate, we have to stop allowing the
unknown to create fear in our minds, and to extend the unlearning
of fear beyond humans, as Gaia and our bodies have more
non-human life than human life.
As another Vernal Equinox/Earth Day unfolds let us individually and collectively heal from our wounds
of the past and present, and work to repair our past
transgressions, including those based on fear or hate of the
other. Our self-care can include letting hurt go from the
past and healing the land you frequent the most or that you feel
the most emotional attunement with, and may the healing plants
that you find there guide you and help you to heal on this journey
that we call life.
Our plant allies and other kindred life forms
appear to us through our subconscious mind and the energy beckons
and calls us to listen (oyé) and observe (mira).
We have the ability to see beyond the veil, beyond the unnatural
sky mist, to see reality face to face and the truth that resonates
in our hearts, the captains of our bodies.
Today at the healing place that I call my home
away from home, Martin Acres, I had a healing ceremony with the wise council of
seen and unseen energy that was present during the ceremony on the
2 acres that comprises href="https://dev.gettingback2nature.farm/&... Back to Nature. Energy, whether positive or negative, has an
effect on us whether we realize it or not. I spoke and acted
from the heart...nothing was recorded as that sacred time would
not have been the same if electronics were present as they often
interfere with the life-affirming frequency we experience from
Gaia.
With love in my heart and in the meaning
behind this explicit message, may the force be with you.
Peace (in your heart and mind), love (from my heart
and the energy that connects us all), and many blessings
(positive affirmations, thoughts, actions, ideas, being in the
moment, emotional attunement, fulfilling your destiny, etc.).

Spring is a time for detoxing (rough draft from "Health and Wellness is Not a Spectator Sport")
Spring is a time for renewal/rebirth and for detoxing your body and home. Our homes, like our bodies, need to breathe and to air out. In your home, turn off your air conditioner (A/C), vacuum your vents, and open your windows and doors to allow fresh, moving air to cleanse it from its winter cocoon. If your home had any Winter leaks take time to remove the moisture and allow air to circulate.
Nature has provided many of us in our yards with dandelion, one of the best plants for detoxing our bodies and assisting our liver (it is the most active between 11 PM and 3 AM) and kidney, so they can continue doing their job and in turn, this helps to strengthen our immune system (one of our body's line of defense). Other easy to access plants that are good for detoxifying include Burdock, Peppermint, Radish, Onion, Garlic, Yellow Dock, Celery, Cucumber, Kidney Bean, Oat (good for both kidney and liver detoxing), Parsley, Lavender, and Rosemary. [For the past 3 or years, I have been doing drinking detox teas in the Spring to rekindle knowledge from yesteryear. This year I made a lacto-fermented Roots Beer that I drank daily during my Spring detoxing that is continuing today].
The human body, like plants, has the innate ability to heal itself, if given the chance. Our bodies are comprised of microorganisms, that may morph depending on our internal environment into other microorganisms. When our bodies are in a state of homeostasis our hands should have at least 5 different species of bacteria on them and our underarms should have at least 20 different species.
Our bodies, in part, because of the reliance and overuse of technology, is becoming more detoxed and losing its homeostasis more frequently. However, our endocannabinoid system (dependent on Omega 3 and deficiencies can lead to Irritable Bowel Syndrome, depression, Fibromyalgia, and more), can be reset by spending two weeks off grid (and with only using natural lighting) annually. In addition we should strive to have a safe space in our homes that are free of electronics, including baby monitors and blue light. We should also strive to restore our natural circadian rhythms by watching the Sun rise (or use a red light for 1 hour) and to do the same thing in the evening.
When our bodies, like out plant allies, become imbalanced because of stress, anger, anxiety, and other negative emotions, we can become dis-eased and our bodies may develop chronic illnesses and/or cancer. In an effort to improve our overall health and wellness, we should detox our bodies, as well as our homes, during the Spring (and other times of the year) to return to the circadian rhythms that have guided humans for millennia.

Thoughts on The Angela Project and other "firsts"
In perusing A Biographical History of Blacks in America Since 1528 by Edgar A. Toppin, it is evident that in St. Augustine, Florida--the oldest European settlement--there were enslaved Africans taken there in 1565.
The British did not start the trans-Atlantic sex and slave trade. It was started by Christopher Columbus in 1492.
And depending on who you ask, Barrack Obama was not the first U.S. President of African descent. In 2000 I came across a book entitled Five Negro Presidents that was published in 1965. And I recall in 1999 while doing some research on Lincoln or something of that nature seeing a digitized newspaper from the Douglas-Lincoln presidential debates and Douglas calling Lincoln "Africanus Boy" or something similar.

Wildin' Out
Two thousand twelve was the Year of Consciousness. We, individually and collectively, should continue re-learning the connections that we have with each other and Mother Earth, including, how we think about the plants in our neck of the woods.
We should create edible landscapes and wild areas in our yard...we should consider eating wild edible plants (sometimes wrongly called weeds or a nuisance); understand the importance of food, water, and shelter for pollinators—not just European honeybees; and understand the importance of meadows/prairies/grasslands and wetlands, not just forests.
We should also become familiar with the whole ecological system—Ecosystem Management: The New Tool of Land Managers? [http://culter.colorado.edu:1030/~tims...]

Pollinators and more
Pollinators, like the flowers they pollinate, come in different shapes, colors, and sizes. Some lesser known pollinators include ants, flies, beetles, bats, birds, and wasps. As we continue to evolve and remember our interconnectedness with the other inhabitants of Mother Earth (or Gaia) within the Web of Life, we will hopefully realize that what impacts one strand of the Web will eventually affect the whole thing. If our landscape decisions in our back and front yards, in parking lots, in roadway medians and on the sides of highways, around houses of worship, in our parks, etc. are detrimental to wildlife, including, but not limited to pollinators, then possibly the same is true for us—as many of us live in cookie-cutter neighborhoods with no native vegetation or mature trees. The lack of biodiversity and diverse ecosystems are detrimental to wildlife and our knowledge of the environment.
Pollinators (and other wildlife) not only need food to eat, but also habitat and water. Habitat cannot be provided properly without varying ecosystems that existed prior to urbanization. If we want to protect pollinators, we must undo the thinking that has us believing that manicured lawns with non-native grasses and no food for humans or non-human animals is rational. Also, we must do what we can to protect water, especially in the master plans of our respective communities.

What Grows in Your Garden?
so cold nothing moves
not even light
a thought is manifested
that travels faster
than the speed of light
to a living, breathing, and
often healing place that
we forget about
until a drought or flood
occurs. We forget that
it is a part of us and
we are a part of it.
The soil or lack thereof
is a part of the system
that determines what grows
in our garden.
Our individual and collective health
from the food we grow
starts in the Universe
and ends with the positive
and/or negative energy
we combine with our intent
and seeds. These seeds feed off
the energy we put out
and into our garden.
We are what we eat
and the food we consume
plays a role in our emotions--
those hidden and seen.
We have the capacity to
be the change we seek
through what we grow in your garden.

Thoughts and Reflections on MLK Day 2015
Today we remember a great man Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The disappointing part is that we only highlight 1 speech out of his 12 years of “world changing” speeches. Therefore we have been left to think that before and after his 1963 speech he never said anything noteworthy! Many people are not even aware that Dr. King had a growth in his thinking as he moved beyond “civil rights” to “human rights.” In the 1968 speech, “I See the Promised Land,” he stated the following:
And another reason that I’m happy to live in this period is that we have been forced to a point where we’re going to have to grapple with the problems that men have been trying to grapple through history…. That is where we are today. And also in the human rights revolution, if something isn’t done, and in a hurry, to bring the colored peoples of the world out of their long years of poverty, their long years of hurt and neglect, the whole world is doomed.
Don’t you feel it’s “time to break the silence” before it destroys the world we call home? Can we continue to ignore our collective problems by sweeping them under the rug? By ignoring our problems, are we saying that we do not care about our collective future? Have we forgotten that there is only one “road to freedom?” Do we not realize we must have “nonviolence” in our personal lives, communities, cities, states, country, and the world before we can travel that road? Where do we go from here? And lastly how will our current actions affect the next 7 generations?
We must not forget the past, nor can we limit our view of those we honor by only concentrating on their non-controversial years, as it does their life and soul no justice and undermines what they stood for and believed in before they died and/or were killed… Rest In Peace Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Mother's Day 2015
Today we honor and recognize the women in our lives that have given birth. We would not be here today if it were not for the mothers from our past nor our present helping to bring us to fruition. We are thankful for the inspiration, warmth, dedication, words of wisdom, generosity, unselfish acts, gratitude, patience and understanding, and unconditional love that you have bestowed upon us!
Happy Mother's Day!
Today we also celebrate peace at a time when our country is in a perpetual war here and abroad. We have been inundated by unauthorized experimentation by those in power (including those that lurk in the shadows and pull the strings of those we see) but this year in 2015, we have to change and transform as we can no longer sit idly. We collectively and individually have to arm ourselves with knowledge of the traps that have been set so that we can avoid them as we continue to treat our bodies like temples and our home—Mother Earth—with more reverence as she and us were created by Divine Oneness/Creator, which is known by many names.
We men have a long history of external aggressions of violence against women but the ones that have perpetuated via the government, media, and society have been more detrimental. For instance, women are more likely to develop breast cancer. Most of the breast cancer occurrences have been linked to medical X-rays, mammograms, and brassieres (aka bras).
Breast cancer like other dis-eases that are directly linked to the unauthorized experimentation can be prevented but knowledge of self is needed first and foremost. Even though our bodies are our temples too few of us know when we are not balanced and something is not right...and this is probably even more specially true for mothers! So please take time for yourself, to get to know your body, and what makes you balanced so that when you become unbalanced you can steer yourself in the right direction!
After you become more aware of your temple seek to become more knowledgeable about the world in which we live. For starters, here are some resources about radiation, cancer, anatomy, and more:
