I was born while enemy aircraft bombed London, spent some of my childhood amidst the wretchedness of post-war Austria, then with siblings and mother, followed my military father across the world. After attending 22 schools and aged 15, I joined the British Army and at 17 passed selection for the Paras. Afterwards, running my own electronic and physical protection company came easily and gave insider knowledge for my crime thrillers The Unseen, The Uncounted and The Unwanted. The slave trade in Europe is alive and flourishing. Organised crime makes billions through human trafficking. According to the UN there are currently 27 million slaves world wide. Dead or alive a slave has value via sex, physical labour, benefit fraud or because their internal organs are butchered for sale on the medical market. Most female slave are children.
