No worries. I've read the early books in the series and enjoyed them. In my opinion these are the better books. This weekend - I've read a cracker of a book. Gregg Hurwitz's "Don't Look Back." I'm so pleased I skipped the backstory of the antagonist and read on. I'll be reviewing it. This was one of those books you had to keep reading.
I was horrified to see I must have accidentally hit some wrong keys and one-starred a recommended read from you some months ago! I actually just now finished 'Dead Simple', the first Detective Superintendent Grace book, and I loved it! I'm sorry if you saw the one star for your recommended read. : (
This is one of the most exciting reads I've enjoyed in awhile. I will be reviewing it in a bit. I think I'll be rating it 5 stars.
Again, my apologies!
