"This is the seventh book I have read in this series (still have ‘Billy Gumboots’ to read), and this one is probably the best.

Actually I am reading four and writing one. I am on chapter seventeen (first draft) of a new novel. And thank you for the writer's luck. I need all I can get!
Lance,Thanks for the friend invite. Congratulations on your books and writer's luck on your next short story or novel. I take it when you said you were juggling four books you meant reading three and writing one.
Happy reading and writing,

I woke up thinking about polliwog (thank you Raneem!) so I am going to use it as part of the heading of chapter 14 I will be writing today. I will work it into the story somehow. I am off work for four days so I plan on writing furiously.

Thank you Raneem (and you definitely used the word correctly). I have no idea why cowabunga slipped into my mind when you asked for my favorite word. I could just have well have written aardvark, doohickey or pollywog. I hope you have a great day as well!
Cowabunga! Thank you for the friend request! (did i use the word correctly?) Congratulations on your books and have a stupendous day! -Raneem

I am glad you found this comment because I am actually using the mantis shrimp in the book I am writing now and I couldn't remember who had messaged me about it. Isn't Goodreads wonderful to help us connect with like-minded souls! My love of reading led to my love of writing; I don't know when I get more excited, when I read a good book or have a good day of writing! Hope you have a fantastic holiday weekend.
Hello, Lance! Thank you for contacting me! Congratulations on your books, and I like the way you answered the questions! Happy reading, writing, and everything else! Have a great weekend and week ahead. Blessings!Best wishes from Majenta
I have never heard of the Mantis Shrimp so I had to look it up. Capable of breaking through aquarium glass with a single strike! Awesome. Thanks for "learning" me. I am actually sitting down to start the first chapter of my third Oak Island book. Can I include the Mantis Shrimp in the story? It would be my way of apologizing for my faux pas (plus I am always looking for new animals and sea creatures to make it more interesting).Stomatopods rule!
