The guy who sold it to me told me a…moreThe idea for the poison box was born from a necklace (a poison box) I bought at a craft show many, many years ago. The guy who sold it to me told me about how women used rings or lockets in which to store poison to protect them from violent men. The idea fascinated me and I knew the character who had been nagging me for so long (Mary Raedwolfe) needed to finally have her story told and that she would wear a poison box around her neck. (less)
