A storyteller by nature Karen loves to move her message through both fact and fiction. Born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey she spent the majority of her life as a Michigan elementary and middle school educator. Over the years young minds made inquiries about life, nature and reality. Many times, Karen's answers involved stories, some personal and some with a dash of fiction.

Karen has written three books, two for young adults and one a children's book. A Cat With Three Tales was written about the adopted cat that took her parents through the last years of their lives.
