Before sharing some sad news (ruined by the title of this post) I need to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who has read, reviewed, shared and liked the Kingdom of Denall series. It has been such a great adventure to share it with you and I hope that I was able to bring some joy into your life through writing those books.

It is with a heavy heart that I make this post. Dragon Scale Publishing has decided to not publish books anymore from authors besides the publisher himself. This means that The Kingdom of Denall Series is officially pulled from shelves as of November 1st.

This Book is Random was self published and will still be available, but at this point in time I am focusing on growing my youtube channel and pursuing other interests at least for the time being.

While I hope to get my books republished at some future time, and I will continue to seek an agent, for now they are unavailable and I will not be making posts on this site.

This blog is a funny thing. Lately it has reminded me of a new year's resolution. I was determined to get videos out each week, then three weeks in, life became crazy and that came to a crashing halt. While I do have great intentions of getting back on those videos, right now is not seeming like the time.

One of the main reasons for my lack of time, other than a bathroom remodel project, is that I've been focusing on some fun writing projects!

Mordyar's story, The Unmarked, is now in to the editors for some feedback. Rewrites can take some time, but I'm hoping it won't be too much longer before we are making an announcement of release date.

While that has been in to the editors, I've been working on another project about an adventure in a Kingdom called Five Spires. It has a fun new magic system, great characters and a terrible curse that has poisoned part of the land, now called Oblivion. I'm about half finished on a rewrite of that project and I'm excited to get that moving along so I can share it with you!

What a creative book! It was aimed at younger readers, so I resisted reading it when my children were obsessed with it. But then a friend of min also recommended it to me and I gave it a read. It was very enjoyable, fun and an all around great adventure.

The characters are very well developed and unique. I like that they don't always do what is best, but they do things that would be true to their personal experiences and desires. That made these characters really come to life for me.

I loved how Riley brought in pop culture books and even poked fun at himself as an author. That was witty and appreciated.

However, if I must be honest, the thing I loved most about this book was the acknowledgements and dedication. That was truly brilliant! Great book!
