The Lost Heiress is well-paced, has a good plot but the story is spread out, told in bits and pieces, and that's what I didn't like about it. I didn't expect the last twist and it sounds quite bizarre. All my sympathies remain with Saoirse - the inno ...more

“Hope is the moonlight filtering through the trees,
Hope is the silent prayer that we make in distress,
Hope is the promise that we make to ourselves,
Hope is the happiness that we visualize,
Hope is the horizon that we reach, if we try!”
Balroop Singh

“You cannot even touch my soul.
So I have emerged stronger,
Kinder, perceptive, forgiving
To embrace you with all the humility.”
Balroop Singh

“Oh! my pain!
Now I have embraced you,
Conquered you!
You have become my antidote,
You can no longer break my spirit.”

“Grief is like a perennial stream that flows unaffected, as the layers of glacier that sit within our hearts get thicker each moment.”
Balroop Singh, Just One Goodbye: Poems from the Heart

“Putting a few words together does not make poetry. A poem has a soul, a heart and an emotion. Even a Haiku is meaningless without a soul.”
Balroop Singh, Timeless Echoes

“Opportunities are like drops of rain…you have to welcome them, harvest them and make them turn around. If you carry an umbrella all the time, you will miss the fun of soaking in their grandeur. They make you the person you would like to be, one day!”
Balroop Singh

“A myopic monster, dislike may discolour our vision but it impels us towards understanding people better.”
