Last Episode of Love Over Kpop Posting to Radish Fiction on Sept. 30
Greetings and salutations!
I am so excited to announce that the last episodes to the serial novel, “Love Over Kpop” are now posting to Radish Fiction. The last episode will be Episode 48, scheduled to be posted on Tuesday, Sept. 30th. From that point on, the novel will be completed and available for only a few more months on Radish Fiction since it is designated to close on Dec. 31, 2025. I am still searching for a new home for the serial novel, and any suggestions in the comments from other authors would be appreciated.
Last episode posting on Sept. 30th on Radish Fiction. It looks like any exclusivity is being lifted from the app. So, I can start posting to another platform while the serial novel remains on Radish Fiction. I do want to give all the readers on that app time to finish and use up their coins and coupons. I feel for you all, since even one of the novels I was reading on the app has already been taken down. So, I’m trying to give you all as long as possible to enjoy it on Radish Fiction.
Link to Love Over KpopAgain, I would like to thank everyone for your love and support with this project. It has been truly a labor of love over the last several years. It is so rewarding to see it finally being finished and available to the public. So, thank you for reading and following this journey.
Please follow this blog for more info and projects ahead.
Until next time, have a great start to your fall. Have a pumpkin spice for me.

“Love Over Kpop”, the last episodes, to be released starting August 18 on Radish Fiction app
Greetings everyone,
So much can happen in a month. I’ve had a death in the family, and my editor’s house caught fire. But I have been soldiering on, and working on the writing that needs to finish this novel. I wanted to keep you all in the loop on how it is going.
In spite of life obstacles, I’ve been continuing to write and finish the serial novel, “Love Over Kpop” on Radish Fiction. As of today, Radish Fiction just sent out that on September 1, 2025, coin and subscription services will discontinue. Auto-renewal of current subscriptions will also be canceled. But, coins, coupons and gift passes will still work until Dec. 31, 2025.
“Love Over Kpop” is available until Dec. 31, 2025 on the Radish Fiction app.In the spirit of keeping everyone updated, I wanted to let you know that previously unpublished episodes, that I was not able to publish due to Vella’s closure, will start going up on Radish Fiction, August 18th. There are 11 unpublished eps for “Love Over Kpop” that will finish the serial novel.
I have a writing schedule set up, and I’m working through finishing them over the next month. The novel is scheduled to be done by end of September. The last episode will post the final week of September. If you’re planning on finishing the novel, I will keep it up on Radish Fiction through October at the very least. Likely even November too, as I look for a new home for it. I know many of you might have started it on the Radish Fiction app already, and maybe want to finish. So, I want to give you that opportunity.
I actually have been reading a book on the Radish Fiction app. as well. I found some good paranormal romances and fantasies that gripped me. When I went to read one I’m following, it had been taken down, right as I was trying to read the next episode. I was super disappointed, since I was enjoying it, and now it’s no longer available.
I won’t do that to my fans, my readers, my reason for writing. I’m not going to leave you hanging. I will finish the story and leave it up on Radish Fiction to give everyone a chance to read it until the end. It’s the least I can do. So, I wanted to let you know.
It is on a time-unlock of 2 hours per episode, with the last few episodes needing coins to finish. I wanted to let you know, save some coins for the end. I believe it’s 3 per episode. The last four episodes will need to be coin activated. So, put aside 12 coins to use for the ending. I was hoping that giving you a heads-up will help in planning for the coin purchase shut down in a few weeks.
I will be trying to find a new home for my serial novel as well. As soon as I know, I will pass on the information. I’m feeling a lot of authors are jumping ship early, and I don’t blame them. If the story is already done, I’d move it to its new home too. But since I am editing and polishing the last 11 episodes, it will take me a month to finish. The important thing is that the story will stay on Radish Fiction for you all to finish. I promise.
It does make me sad to see this great romance serial app disappearing. I’ve enjoyed it myself for being able to do quick reads while on-the-go. I am looking forward to finally getting these last episodes out to you and finishing the serial novel, “Love Over Kpop”. I feel at this point, it’s for you, the fans. I really want to have it published for you to finally read. It’s what is driving me. So, thank you for being a reader, and I hope you enjoy the ending to “Love Over Kpop”. It’s been a long time coming.
“Love Over Kpop” is available on the Radish Fiction app until it closes on Dec. 31, 2025.

“Love Over Kpop” Affected by Radish Fiction Closure Happening Dec. 31, 2025
Graphic made by Gemini 2.5The news of Radish Fiction announcing the closure of the app on Dec. 31, 2025 shot through my heart last week. I received the message as a writer on Radish Fiction, and I have to say, it saddens me to no end. I thought I’d found a permanent home for this Kpop Romance. It is turning out to be a temporary stop along it’s publishing journey. I had it on Kindle Vella, with a modest following and income. Then, Vella closed. I found a new home for it on Radish Fiction. Now, the announcement of its closure means I will be needing to come up with another plan for this serial novel. It’s feels a little deja-vu.
What does this mean for readers of “Love Over Kpop” if you have been following it on Radish Fiction? I will do the goal I set out to do, and that is finish the story on Radish. Coins can still be spent on the app, and the story is in Time-unlock. So, it can be read a lot of the time, by waiting for episodes to unlock. Radish Fiction will likely announce a time that you won’t be able to buy coins anymore. I am hoping this will be near the later part of the year. So, I will finish the novel first, and readers can get through it. Basically, there is a real ticking clock trope happening for all the stories on Radish right now.
“Love Over Kpop” is being scheduled with an editor to be finished in October. I have the episodes mapped out in a writing schedule, and it looks like I should approximately finish the serial novel either mid-month or near the end. Which will give the novel a few months more on Radish Fiction, for everyone needing to finish it there. Then, it will go to a new home. Where that will be, I don’t know yet. Either I can self-publish as a novel or upload it to another serial novel platform. My first choice is to put it on a new platform if I can. If you have a suggestion, please put it in the comments.
I have noticed reads going down on the story. I can understand that. Readers are likely really turned off by what has happened. But I want to keep my promise to you, that the story will be done, and available to be read until the end of the year.
The hard part might be finding a new home for this serial novel. There are fewer and fewer places for serialized novels. If you have any suggestions, please put them in the comments. I’d appreciate it. Plus, any comments you have on this subject will be read and answered.
As readers and writers using Radish Fiction, we’re all in this together. I am happy I was accepted and have been able to get almost half way through my story by the time this happened. I feel, as a writer, the most important thing is to finish the story for the readers that are enjoying “Love Over Kpop”. I owe you all that.
I will keep you updated on any new home I find for this serial novel and other developments as they happen. Thank you so much for your support and reads. I appreciate you, because without readers, writers have no audience. You mean the most out of this experience. I have you as a reader now.
Thank you.

Marilyn Vix Launching Kpop Romance on Radish Fiction
Greetings and salutations,
I have some great news! My Kpop romance has found a new home on the Radish Fiction app. Some of you might have been following my serial novel called “Love Over Kpop” when it was on Vella on Amazon. But unfortunately, Vella shut down earlier this year. I wasn’t able to finish and got about 3/4 of the way through the novel. Now, I’m happy to announce that it will debut on the Radish Fiction app on April 29 at 9pm GMT/1 pm PDT! That is today for those of you keeping track.
Photo by nai put on UnsplashIt feels good to have it settled in a new platform so I can complete this serial novel. It differs a little from some of my more spicy paranormal reads. It is more sweet, likely due to the Kpop feel I’m trying to create. I mean, the characters just kept closing the door on me. So, I respected their wishes. But there is still some real emotional pull, and if you love Kpop, rock star rom, office roms, forbidden and forced proximity tropes, I invite you to try it out.
The Radish Fiction app is available in the Google play store and Apple/iOS play store. It’s great for times where you need something short to read. Episodes range from 700-1500 words. It has several options to unlock episodes, such as wait-time, coins, and even coupons that can be earned. I’ve been enjoying romping through several stories myself. I really enjoyed the fast reads and jumping to different stories.
Here is a little bit about my story:
LOVE OVER KPOP
Forbidden love with a Kpop Idol!
Trish Russo has just started a job at an agency in LA. Her new company has paired with a Korean agency to help with managing the band, Friends5, in the States. But the finicky leader, Woo In-ho, won’t come out of his trailer to film the current music video. Trish is asked, as the new assistant, to talk to him. She tries to reason with him like a regular person. He responds to the normal treatment, but on one condition. She needs to help out and be in the video. What is a girl to do when a gorgeous K-pop Idol asks you to be in his video? Will it all just be acting? When she’s assigned to be his guide as he travels to Northern California for a special event, can she resist him? Or will she let her feelings get entangled with In-ho? It all comes down to Trish choosing her new career or a Kpop idol. Will love win over Kpop?
EPISODE IS LIVE! Just search for Love Over Kpop on the app, and it comes right up!
Updates will happen twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday at 9pm GMT/1pm PDT.
***When every episode launches, there is a 3 hour chat time with the author on the app where you can ask questions, comment about the episode, and talk with me and other readers. I’d love to see you there.
I will update this post often with new info. I am so looking forward to hearing from you on what you think.
Remember, to download the Radish Fiction app, and I’ll see you there.

I’m very excited to announce that I’ll be leading an interactive Writing Goal Setting online workshop this Saturday morning for the Golden State Romance Writers. This is the first time in which I’ll be giving this workshop. So, I’m pretty excited to be presenting it to the GSRW as my first workshop this year. I also have a presentation on how to get started in self-publishing. But this workshop is geared towards all writers and you don’t have to be traditional or self-published, just a writer. Marilyn Vix starts Patreon account for Fans & Exclusive Content
Greetings and salutations!
Happy New Year! Best wishes for 2025!
I am excited to announce that I have started a Patreon.com account to put all of my writing in one place for my fans to enjoy. I have been a bit spread out between ebooks, Vella and Wattpad. So, I’m pulling it all together into a Patreon account so everything can be read in one place. I have already taken down my contemporary romance that has been on Wattpad in several draft forms for 10 years, “Saving My Heart”. It’s time to move it off Wattpad and put it in a place where it can be found more easily. It will be at the paid level, and will be available to buy as a collection once it is all uploaded. It will be finally finished on Patreon.
I’m also including some never before seen flash fiction I’ve been doing off and on for years. I’ve done short stories on Wattpad too, since I consider it my writing lab. But I’m going to start moving a lot of that playful writing to Patreon. I am going to leave some of my fan fiction that I’ve done on Wattpad. But my original works are going to be moving, including “Confessions of a Wannabe Ghost Hunter.” I have enjoyed starting it on Wattpad, and am enjoying writing it. But I’m feeling, I’d like to have it in an area where my fans can enjoy it, I’ll get feedback from them, and I can eventually turn it into an ebook.
The good news, I’m going to put “Confessions…” at the free level of membership. So, you won’t have to be a paid Pateron member, but just a free level member to enjoy the continuation of the story. I’m also moving my Vella story: “Love Over Kpop” from Vella onto Patreon. It will release onto Patreon as soon as Vella closes in February. I’ll finish that story on Patreon as well.
So, exciting things for 2025! My new Patreon Account is:
https://www.patreon.com/c/MarilynVix.
Please stop and check it out, and consider joining at free or paid levels.
And thank you for all the support on Wattpad over the years. I hope to see you at Patreon.
Peace and kindness for 2025,
-Marilyn

Interview with Owen Sieffre
Looking for some spicy Black Love romances? Are you looking for a new romantasy? I’ve found a great new Romantic Fantasy author that writes for all shades and body sizes and advocates for Black emotional vulnerability. Meet Owen Sieffre. He writes wholesome and spicy paranormal, fantasy and science fiction romance and erotica. He likes to base his novel relationships on growth and open communication even if they sometimes come with tails and horns. I got a chance to talk with Owen about his latest project, past influences and other projects he’s got in store.
What is your favorite memory from reading as a child?
Owen Sieffre: My favorite memory reading books as a kid would definitely be when I was in my very early teens. I was obsessed with the Goosebumps books. Like, seriously obsessed. I’ve read every single one of them. This was before Amazon dominated bookselling, but there was this little mom-and-pop bookshop several blocks from my house. Every single week, I’d go down to that shop and ask the lady if a new Goosebumps book had come out yet. She’d tell me “No”, and I’d be all sad. But, sometimes, I’d come in, and a new book would be out! I’d just sit down in the book aisles and read the whole thing right there before even buying it. My favorite Goosebumps book was “How I Learned To Fly”.
Who was your favorite author and how did they influence you?
Owen Sieffre: This is such a hard one! But if I had to pick my most recent favorite author, it’d be Joan Vassar. Her focus tends to be historical fiction, and I love her writing style. I especially like her Black series and how it follows different escaped slaves finding redemption and love, while leading rebellion and liberation in the States. Black love, Black growth, Black healing are really my passions, and they are always an important aspect of my stories. So, I just connect so much with that aspect of Joan!
What subjects would you like to write about in future projects?
Owen Sieffre: So much! My first book, “The Sunlit Fairy”, is kind of a mix between fantasy and SF. But I’d really like to get into some pure adult SF erotica novels and shorts. I already have good ideas for some stories that involve lots of aliens, mechs, and maybe even tentacles, LOL. Also, because of my love for African American historical fiction, I absolutely want to write in that genre too. No real solid ideas yet. The hard part isn’t coming up with a simple wild-west plotline with a hot Black cowboy. The hard part is coming up with a simple wild-west plotline with a hot Black cowboy and not adding aliens.
Book Blurb:
One Outside.
One Outcast.
One Enchanted Island.
In the wake of post-Reconstruction America, opportunities for African Americans remain scarce and fraught with challenges. Seeking a chance at adventure and a new beginning, 23-year-old Elijah takes a daring leap by accepting a position as a deckhand on a British merchant ship. His dreams of exploration swiftly turn into a nightmare when a legendary Kraken attacks, leaving Elijah as the sole survivor shipwrecked on the mysterious Fishcrescent Island.
Here, he is no longer negro, Black, or African American. He is simply, the Outsider. Injured and starving, none on the island will vouch to care for Elijah—none except Esmee, the village outcast. At 26 years old, she is even more reclusive than the already reclusive islanders.
Yet, despite their stark differences and the island’s deep-seated secrets, a bond begins to form between them as Esmee helps Elijah heal. But Esmee may realize too late that she never wants to return to walks on the beach, cove crab hunting, or even sleeping in bed alone again. Because if the island’s ancient and many-armed secrets come to feast on Elijah, then she will remain a hermit forever.
The Hermit of Fishcrescent Island is a historical romantic fantasy with seashells, scales, eager virgins on both sides, and male vulnerability with HEA.
The Hermit of Fishcrescent Island is available on Amazon.com and is a Kindle Unlimited title.
