I grew up in a small seaside town in Norfolk; went to university in London and lived there for over three decades. I now live in Brighton. I write psychological suspense because I'm fascinated by what drives people to do extreme things.

First Draft Euphoria

I've just completed the first draft of my fifth novel and this has given me a lovely feeling of euphoria.

When you start out on a novel you are enthused by your premise for the story and think it will unfurl before you. It does not happen like that.
