Licenciado en Literaturas Hispánicas en la Universidad de Sonora. Maestro en Educación por la Universidad del Valle de México. Mediador del programa de Salas de Lectura de la Secretaria de Cultura, certificado por parte de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana.
En 2009 obtuvo el Premio Nacional de Poesía Sonora, con el poemario Tu Boca Mía (ISC, 2012) premio otorgado por el Instituto Sonorense de Cultura.

Fue becario del Fondo Estatal para la Cultura y las Artes de Sonora en la categoría de Jóvenes Creadores en el periodo de 2009-2010, por su proyecto poético Exiliario.

Con :forma de olvido (Editorial De otro tipo, 2019) obtuvo el premio del Concurso del Libro Sonorense en el género de Poesía, premio concedido también por el Instituto Sonor ...more

En los pardos todas las noches son gatos.

Es la noche un gato de ojos azules,
se rasca con los troncos de las sombras
y en sus ramas holga sus fieros deseos,
duerme panza arriba con una pata
en la luna y otra sobre el tejado.

En este nocturno de musa blanca
hay un felino calor en el aire,
pardas estrellas brillan en el maullar
de las horas, escurridiza forma
