So, after finishing the first two books in the Firehouse Three world with my co-author Sidney Bristol, we were chatting, and I said, “What do you think about my doing a little Firehouse Three Christmas special? A short novella, holiday themed.”

And she replied, “Go for it!”

And then I wrote it. And it turned out to be a novel, not a novella. LOL, so much for the brief special!

I’m hard at work on the finishing touches of this story, but in the meantime, I’ve got some incredibly awesome cover art to show you. Thanks again to artiste Charity Hendry, who worked her magic on this Christmas Cowboy hottie. And you can preorder now! Check it out.

A few months ago my good friend Sidney Bristol and I decided to co-write a series in a shared world. We picked Firehouse Three, which is a real place in Dallas, Texas, which is awesome for two reasons–it was the home station of the first female firefighter in Dallas, and it has a gator pit. I know. How could we not base our series there?
