It's Friday and the beginning of the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. We have a bunch of family visiting for the weekend so it promises to be full of fun, food, and music!

Taking a break from writing for the weekend to cook up some butterscotch pies (requested by my daughters) and some pasta dishes for pasta night on Saturday. Pasta for 16! On the menu is spaghetti carbonara and chicken penne with rosé sauce. Yum!

I have been working on my publishing website and branding my publishing company and this week I had a video made with my company logo. I am planning to add the video to the end of all of my book promotion videos.

It's Friday - yahoo! I have been trying hard all week to get my next book finished but it just hasn't happened. I guess I'll just have to cut myself some slack since the weekend is now here and it's time to have fun with the kiddos :)

I did make lots of progress on marketing my existing books, plus I visited Chapters and made a wish list of the books I would like to read next for my upcoming birthday and Christmas. Also, I ordered covers for my next two books.

All in all it was a great week. Next week, I will definitely finish m new Christmas craft book for kids!

Well, I have been working on my marketing and video creation skills. Here is my latest video about my Christmas cookbook, 25 Days of Christmas Treats.

25 Days of Christmas Treats video

Well it has been a couple of months since I have written a blog post. I have been very busy writing and setting goals for 2014. I am so excited about this year! My goal is to write, write, write, and publish, publish, publish!

I now have nine books on Amazon with many more on the way. I am up to my ears in research, but that is just the way I like it!

One thing I need to do, though, is make time for reading. With all of this writing, I haven't been reading for pleasure. This week, my goal is to pick a new book to read, just for fun!

Looking forward to a productive March, with a little bit of downtime thrown in.

This book is definitely a labor of love. It contains many of my family's favorite Christmas treat recipes from homemade caramel popcorn to painted sugar cookies (with icing, of course).

Hi. I am happy to have published my first Amazon Kindle book called, "Raising a Happy Child: Turn Frustration Into Communication Using American Sign Language With Your Baby, Infant, and Toddler". I have previously co-authored a textbook, "Legal Transcription in Canada" with Lynn Berry through Emond Montgomery Publications in Toronto, Canada.

Writing has always been a passion of mine and I have lots more books inside me just waiting to be written!
