Author of THE LONG WAY HOME, a novel tracking eighty years of a bullet's trajectory, Poole also has written two detective chronicles, COWTOWN CRIME and COWTOWN CORPSE, featuring Detective Frank "Pink" Bettman. Her poetry is available under the title CHILDREN OF EVE. Poole has authored SUNDOG STORIES, a short story collection, and HOGAN THE HORSE BEDTIME TALES for children.

After 25 years of writing and acting in New York, M.D. Poole now lives in the Cote d'Azur. Six of her plays have been produced off-Broadway and in regional theater. Her writing has appeared in 25 books and journals, such as Write from Wrong, Callaloo, Write Place at the Write Time, and Black Willow.
