One Day Make: Pin Banner
I've recently been collecting pins and while my collection is still small, I decided it was time to make something that doubles as storage and display.
The main pin storage systems seem to be cork boards and fabric banners, also known as pennants.
My friends showed me pictures of some of the ones they had and I decided I wanted a banner. I knew I had the items I needed for this at home and I also thought they looked very stylish.
I spray painted a stick black and left it to dry.
I made a template o...

Polymer Clay Creatures.
Last year I started sculpting with polymer clay. I decided to make miniature animals because I loved the miniatures I've been collecting from Koki Craft. She uses traditional clay but I wanted to try it with polymer as I can bake it at home and don't need a kiln.
I'm really enjoying learning how to make things with it. At the moment I'm using white polymer clay from Kmart. This has a soft texture which I like as I find harder ones a bit hard on my hands. I also find it easier to work with than p...

Update
Hi there, it's been a long time since I visited blog land!
Life has been really busy and I have not had any time to write or make videos! Blogging and commenting have fallen by the wayside of my schedule!
Thanks to lovely Bracken for asking about my stories, I have written a couple of short stories but I haven't had time to edit them. I am thinking of self publishing a little short story collection but I haven't had time for that either!
I have had a few adventures and done some crafts, hopefully...

Melbourne Day 5 and 6
DAY 5
THURSDAY: Melbourne CBD
A little sparrow at the markets, I think he was waiting for his coffee order.
Vegan cupcakes at the market
On Thursday morning we caught the tram to the Queen Victoria Markets. I got another iced decaf coffee. Jon got a breakfast burger. The market was only partway full (there were so many empty spaces) and most of it was the same cheap clothes, tourist merchandise and expensive leather goods. We got a couple of cute presents and a Wednesday tee for $20. We did get a ...

We went to the South Melbourne Markets in the morning. I grabbed an iced decaf coffee on soy. We got to try bushfood popcorn from Uncle Charlie's Tastes of Country. Our favourite was Bush tomato and River Mint. We grabbed two bags as presents. I wish I had got more because I kept wanting to eat it myself!
Image not mine.

Melbourne Day 1 and 2
Day 1
SUNDAY: St Kilda
On the afternoon of Sunday 19th March, we arrived in Melbourne by Skybus (the bus from the airport). We left our things at the hotel and took the tram to St Kilda at around 3.00 to see the Esplanade Markets.
We got a couple of vegan momos, a kind of dumpling from a stall called something like Mama Momos.
Jon got a beef skewer from Hanoi Street Food.
We also saw a stall that sold hotdogs and ugly face mugs but didn't get anything from it.
We headed to Luna Park. it was late in...
