Today, I woke up missing Paris.

P.S. this was shot from the Eiffel Tower, through the chicken wire, on a cold and windy December day with my iPhone. Deserves an award? I think so.

I was all wrong.

I hate blogging. A. I don’t think I’m very good at it. 2. I don’t have much free time and c. It uses up the little bit of creativity I have every day. But, I’m willing to concede that I may have c. all wrong (though, I was told that c. was always right in school.)
Up until this morning, I was looking at creativity like it was a gas tank and I only had so much juice to keep me going. Since I’m 25% through a sequel people are asking me for, I didn’t want to spend my fuel on blogging or tweeting or pinning or fbooking or whatever the “f” I should be doing as a new writer.
But, I think I get it now (by George, I think she’s got it.) Spending time creating outside of my manuscript actually gets my juices flowing. When it comes time to buckle-down and write, perhaps I’ll be primed for true genius (or literate, at least.)
So, I’m going to give this blogging-nonsense a try and commit - here and now - to the daily posting of some creative writing on this blog. It could be a sentence or a paragraph or a poem - you can never tell with me. Visit often and see if there’s anything you like and, please, don’t be afraid to tell me - I love the kindness of strangers (and not in a weird way.)
This is my post today - come back tomorrow. I’ll be waiting for you… (too stalkery?)

Love,

Nina
