Great children's books have always inspired me. What could be more fun, more compelling, than a wonderful story with amazing pictures?
As a kid, I loved the limitless possibility of Harold and the Purple Crayon. Being a children's book author is much like that. As an author and illustrator, you imagine scenarios and choose which ones you will turn into reality. You choose the time of day, the weather, that bird flying by... An entire world is yours to create and every element is up to you. It's an amazing opportunity - but can also be a daunting task!
Thanks for stopping by, and for your support of my writing and illustration. I look forward to sharing many more stories with you, your children, and maybe even with theirs...
