Where did I get the idea for Under the Dryer?

I've always been a bit of a scaredly-cat, so I have legit concerns about what lurks in spaces we can't really see, especially the commonplace areas about which we become complacent. Oh, you may scoff, but have you looked under YOUR dryer lately (late at night when the world is "sleeping")? Well, I have, hence this story. Thank goodness for Goliath, is all I have to say! :D(less)

What happened to my great-Uncle Willie who disappeared with the Medicine Show in the early 1900's?

I don't know the answer to what happened to Willie, but it would make for a good atmospheric fiction story. Thanks for asking!(less)

REVIEW: J.S. Morin - EXTINCTION REVERSED (series)

Extinction Reversed (Robot Geneticists #1) Extinction Reversed by J.S. Morin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First time reading J.S. Morin. I completed this series and truly loved it!

Extraordinary, thought-proving series. Marvelous cast of characters. Brilliant concept, well-wrought, sustained, and satisfyingly completed. It’s one of those series I’m sad to see end. Some of these characters will stay with me for a very long time. Thanks, J. S. M Read more of this blog post »

“What is success?
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate the beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch Or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!”

A Deadly Concoction by Virginia King

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy
“Sometimes I want to say I love you all," said the mole, "but I find it difficult."
"Do you?" said the boy.
"Yes, so I say something like I'm glad we are all here."
"Ok," said the boy.
"I'm glad we are all here."

The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer
“How would you feel if someone outside really started talking to you the way your inner voice does? How would you relate to a person who opened their mouth to say everything your mental voice says? After a very short period of time, you would tell them to leave and never come back. But when your inner friend continuously speaks up, you don’t ever tell it to leave. No matter how much trouble it causes, you listen.”
