Need to Know
Without creating a spoiler, I feel we owe a tremendous debt to all members of the military, both those currently serving and our veterans. Like Gabriel, they step up to the plate and often receive little or no recognition. With the holiday season in full bloom, please consider thanking them with a quick note, a handshake, a hug, or any other appropriate way to express appreciation.
Please check out www.makeitvisible.org. They help expose and heal the invisible wounds of war. Over 625,000 service members, nearly one in seven who served, are living with the signature wounds of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. We cannot let them face this alone.
In 2010, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund built the National Intrepid Center of Excellence in Bethesda, MD. Now they need our help in raising money to build nine satellite rehabilitation centers across the country. These state-of-the-art facilities will provide our returning veterans suffering from TBI and PTS the highest quality care our nation has to offer.

Why I chose WNY as my setting
I have been blessed to have traveled all over the US and have lived in two major metropolitan areas. But Buffalo is my hometown and is often unjustly maligned. I wanted to set the record straight that Western New York is not just known for its lake effect snowstorms and professional sports teams.
Buffalo is situated on Lake Erie which makes summertime water sports an enjoyable option to beat the summer heat. Its close proximity to Niagara Falls provides visitors with a breathtaking experience as they view the thundering falls, both from the American and Canadian borders. Rebecca was wise to chose the Falls as the setting to solicit favors from one of her many accomplices.
While Buffalo is the second largest city in New York State, it has a smalll town feel as Western New Yorkers stick together and appreciate all that they have. The City has one of the finest modern art galleries in the Northeast and boasts a full season of vibrant theatre and philharmonic orchestra offerings. While Anika may ultimately leave WNY, her heart will always be there as well as mine.

The Blink of Her Eye
I wrote this book first and foremost to entertain. I'm a lifelong fan of mysteries and page turning twists and turns. But even super sleuths can become involved in steamy romances when tracking down killers and winding their way through spellbinding thrillers. I hope I've united these two storylines leaving readers of both erotica and mysteries equally satisfied.
