Sheila Busteed is a freelance writer, teacher, journalist, photographer and designer who possesses a deep connection to music.

Sheila is an avid traveler, and the creation of "Sunsets in Oia" took her back to the island of Santorini for a writing retreat in May 2012.

After nearly a decade in Canada’s capital, Sheila moved to South Korea to begin a new career as an English teacher. Eighteen months later, she uprooted again and now lives in Morocco. She spends much of her spare time writing and traveling.

In September 2014, Sheila returned to Santorini for a third visit. During her stay, she did research for her second novel and continued to explore the beautiful island.

Back in February, I spent two weeks touring around the Filipino island of Palawan and can easily boast that it offered the best snorkeling experience I've yet enjoyed. The people of Palawan are humble but gracious hosts and seemingly some of the happiest folks around.
