Fireside Friday: I wasn't cool when I met KA.

Welcome back! It’s Friday. We made it. Huzzah! And I’m here to again remind you of the low, low quality of content creators you follow on the internet. This week’s story employs my real dumb mouth and my unfiltered ability to misuse it...in front of the Queen. OUR QUEEN. Kristen Ashley.

Seriously, you can quit reading now. It might be for the best.

But if you’re still here, grab your favorite hoodie, throw a log on the fire, and have a seat with me and my trusty and ever-faithful sidekick, Da...

Fireside Friday: I cut my butt off.

I'm not crazy, I know it's Monday, but life happened and I didn't get this out Friday like I'd planned. So maybe this will brighten your Monday instead. Pretend it's Friday though, okay? hehehe

FAIR WARNING: This story is extra, out there, and beyond TMI. (But let's be honest here, aren't all the best stories?)

Welcome back to Fireside Friday with y'gurl...me...Mo. Last week, I got all emo and barfed feel-goods out into the interweb, this week is gonna be a lot more—um, I'll call it—intimate. ...

Fireside Friday: 55¢ Story

Like I've said before, some of you are true OGs, but there are many, many of you who are new to me. In an attempt to show you all more of who I am, Fridays through September, I'm going to tell some stories about me, my life, and some of the people I love. So, there will be some of you who know this story already, but it just feels right to begin here.

Danny and I met and began dating in 2001. A twenty year old lighting sales associate and a nineteen year old drummer, working in sign shops—both o...

I'm writing and reading and loving it.

This year is bringing so much cool stuff! Not only have I joined up with a group of authors who are giving me their free books to share with you in my newsletter, but I also formed my own incredible group! I truly can't wait to share these super talented author's work with you. So make sure you're subscribed. I've announced the name of my next release: Love and Other Misdemeanors! And, at risk of jinxing myself, I just want to say I'm 100% obsessed with this story. They are raw and funny and...

It's called BuJo and I'm here for it.

Over the years, I've found that I thrive with structure. Routine. Organization. And when left to my own devices, without such, I'm a real dumpster fire. In the past, my need to journal or schedule has been filled with many great tools. First, I tried the Erin Condren Custom LifePlanner which I loved. Then the next year I tried the Plum Paper because they were cheaper, but very similar. I liked it too. Last year however, I went with the Create 365 Big Happy Planner—mainly because I could get...

A laugh-out-loud, male-assistant-to-mouthy-sketch-comedy-writer romance. A fun game of Who's--really--the Boss.
--
Tatum Elliot is a successful writer on a hit television show, lives in an Upper East Side apartment, and loves her life. She wouldn't change a thing. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a choice. She's losing her sight.

Tripping over her tongue and her heels, Tatum all too quickly realizes that the things which appeared so important before are slowly slipping away, leaving room for what really matters. With the support of her best friends, family, and colleagues, she begins to see that there's much more to life... and herself.

When Ben Harris enters her life as her new personal assistant, she can't tell if it's his good looks and charm that are working on her libido, or his kind and helpful nature working on her heart. Whatever it is, neither resist.

As her vision fades out, a world of love and happiness just might...Fade In.

Fade In is a contemporary romance novel about laughing through your tears and telling life to, quite frankly, "Suck it."

3 Romance Inspired Recipes Perfect for Memorial Day Barbecues

I don't know about you, but I love when I'm reading a novel and stumble across a food or beverage that is perfect for the scene. It adds to the authenticity and setting for me—a self-proclaimed foodie with hundreds of recipes pinned to endless boards on Pinterest. Plus, there have been many times when a personal favorite food or drink has snuck its way into one of my novels. More than that really. Did I mention I love food? As I skimmed my books, I found many, many references to food. Maybe I...

TWISTED DESIRE is Live. Also, why a duet? Why now?

Now, a little story time. In 2016, I wrote and released Knot—one long, crazy book. I loved writing it. Loved how different the characters were from me. From their personalities to their lifestyle choices, they were totally outside my comfort zone. My leading male characters, up until that point, had been average guys. My personal preference in real-life men. A little goofy. Sometimes awkward. Honest, but easy-going. Reagan "Reggie" Warren wasn't like them. He was enigmatic and flawed and...
