Bill - loved your article on mapmaking. It's so refreshing to see someone actually talking about WRITING instead of just hawking their own product. If you decide to write a follow up on the importance of making sure your battle scenes - from tactical to strategic - make sense, please don't hesitate to contact me? I absolutely agree. I used sketched grid maps to plot out the critical combat scenes in the books. Some of the results of these little mocked up encounters actually changed the core content of the book. In an upcoming piece I wrote for a sci-fi/fantasy website, I talk about how the results of these mock combats actually gave birth to the minotaur character, Toby.

As to collaboration, everything is plotted out for the first trilogy, second book releasing before the holidays, and the final book in the trilogy releasing On or before May 1, 2018. But after that I'll be looking at all the different ways to let the world of Panos grow and make it accessible to everyone (board games and war games, RPG's, co-authoring, and other shared vision projects).(less)

Unseelie Pie: New Audio Short Story!

I know you're all waiting for the final book in The Blackstaff Siblings trilogy. It's coming! I'll finish the second Panos trilogy before Christmas, I swear.

Until then , Khaki narrated one of my recent short stories on his podcast. It's from my rural fantasy universe, 'Our Seelie World'. Chefs and fairies and werewolves, oh my. :) I'll be adding it to my free story list shortly as well.
