Hey! Good to hear from you, Kelly. What's happening?

I've been working on marketing "Relic" and started working on the sequel. I hope to have that done by fall 2015. I've done a few author events and I am scheduled for a local (community access) TV interview next month. Hopefully that helps kick-start a few more sales.

I'm sure you noticed that I've been staying away from Scribophile. As much as I liked hanging out with you all, I needed to refocus my efforts with writing (and other aspects of real life).

I've occasionally traded emails w/ RM, Jenn, Jeff Suwak and a few other Insomniacs. Have not heard from TL lately, but I do read her blogs and postings.

Hope things are going well for you.

Stay in touch.

Resurrection

Resurrection: The continued existence of one’s self-awareness.

It’s a familiar and relatively simple concept; a basic tenet of many contemporary and archaic religions. It has been a key element in the quest for immortality that has dogged the human race for millennia; perhaps ever since self-awareness itself came into being as a side effect of the neurological activity within that mass of gray and Read more of this blog post »

“This is the mitochondrial DNA.” Bowers nodded back to the cryo-case. “It’s the genetic material that actually makes the energy that powers our cells. Think of it like this. Each of our cells has the usual 23 pairs of chromosomes that make us human and determine our physical appearance, how we fight off disease, and other physical characteristics. Now think of the mitochondria as little organisms within our cells. Like cells within a cell. It’s those little organisms that make energy for our cells. And they have their own DNA.” “I”

“People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.”
