“Asparagus, for example, is one vegetable that should be steamed before eating in order to unlock cancer-fighting properties, and the same goes for tomatoes. A quick sauté is also okay, but avoid overcooking or boiling, as you will then lose the highest quality properties.   Mushrooms should also be cooked in order to release muscle building-properties. Surprisingly, spinach should be cooked as well, because that is when you will be able to absorb the most calcium, magnesium, and iron. If you can’t stand to fully cook spinach, just give it a quick steaming, cooking it until it starts to wilt.”
