Victoria liked Jody Blanchette's review of Selene Shade, Loving the Dead (The Resurrectionist Series, 2): " Selene Shade is back! I loved the first book, Resurrectionist For Hire, where we really got to know what Selene’s gift really involved. We also got a peek into a budding romance with a vampire. #teamMarlene for life! Quotes by Victoria Dalpe (?)

“The resurrectionist must feel that way too. Everyone just a little uncomfortable around her, she was like a walking memento mori, if you see her, it's too late.”

“Not everyone wants to be pulled back and put into a dead, reanimated body. It's close, but not the same as being alive.”
