I grew up in London but I love the countryside, especially the wilderness of northwest Scotland.

In between working as a doctor, I dream about fantastical stories and other worlds. Out of this came the Eagleheart trilogy, a story about reincarnation and second chances.

Searching for survivors

‘…when we found their tracks again after three days it appeared the expedition had abandoned their research and gone straight into the heart of Turostrath. We could not follow quickly out of caution and the danger of the terrain, but the delay was making my guides nervous so I struck camp and ordered several of ours to go out and find a way through the ruins and red water, which one party did.
