Entering The Last Stage

I know I have been talking a lot about Book 7 progress lately, but I’m really happy to say that I have officially finished drafting every chapter. That means I’m heading into the editing stage now, which, lol, I promise is a lot quicker.

I also have some news that feels extremely exciting to even say out loud. If I can get the rewrite done soon, I’m hoping to enter Dragons of Blackmoor into the Script Pipeline contest in the hope of one day turning the series into an actual show. What makes that even crazier to me is that the production company connected to it has worked with bringing Legacies to life, which is the spin-off of The Vampire Diaries for anyone who may not know. Since Dragons of Blackmoor shares some inspiration with that universe, this feels like a really big deal to me.

Thank you for sticking with me through all the updates, all the chaos, and all the progress. I’m excited, a little nervous, and very ready to keep pushing forward.

Season One Finale ARC Announcement

Hi Para-cuties,

I’ll be uploading Book 7, Throne of the Dragon Sin, to BookSirens today with 30 spots for anyone who wants to read the Season One finale.

I decided to keep the full book together with all three episodes instead of splitting it up. Since it’s a longer read, I’ll be giving it a two-month reading window. I also plan to start accepting readers on Wednesday.

I hope everyone who gives it a chance enjoys the twists and turns in this finale. And stay tuned, because I’ll be sharing another announcement soon that I’m really excited about.

Love,
R.D.

Let's Pick Up Where We Left Off

Para-Cuties 💻✨

New laptop secured—hopefully this one survives the chaos this time lol.

I’m officially back to writing Book 7, and fair warning… this one is stacked. It’s the Season One finale, so there’s a lot unfolding, a lot connecting, and a lot finally coming to the surface.

But trust me—you won’t be disappointed.

Season One Finale Delay

Hey everyone. I have some bad news regarding the release of Throne of the Dragon Sin. My laptop has completely died on me, and I’m currently stuck working off an iPad. I’m hoping to have it fixed soon, but this means the finale is going to be delayed for a bit. The story is safe and the drafts are all there, I just need a working computer to actually finish the formatting and get it out to you. Thanks for being patient while I deal with this headache.

The Calm

Every book in Blackmoor has its own rhythm. Some arrive like thunder; others move slower, pulling you closer until you realize what’s been building underneath.

Book Five was about aftermath—what it costs to survive, and what it means to rebuild when everything familiar has changed. It asked the characters to sit in their consequences before the next reckoning could begin.

I’m endlessly grateful for every reader who’s followed these characters this far. You’ve seen them fight, fall, and rise again—and that loyalty means more than you’ll ever know.

The next chapter of their story brings the storm I’ve been writing toward since the beginning. Thank you for staying through the calm before it.

“To Everyone Who’s Visited Blackmoor—Thank You”

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say a huge thank-you to all the early readers who picked up Dragons of Blackmoor and shared their thoughts, reviews, and sharp-eyed edits with me. Your feedback has helped me catch a few sneaky errors (including a couple of rogue duplicate scenes—still shaking my head at those), and I’m working on an updated file to clean it all up.

This book has lived in my head for a long time, so seeing it finally out in the world—flaws and all—means more than I can put into words.

For those asking: yes, Book Two is underway. Expect more secrets, more magic, and much deeper consequences for the choices made in Blackmoor.

Thank you for reading, for rooting for these characters, and for letting me tell this story in all its slow-burn, haunted-town, emotionally layered glory.
