Edwin D Ferretti III is a: writer, tinkerer in electronics, trumpet player, and an amateur archaeologist—with a passion for ancient Egypt. He hails from Chicago, Illinois. In 1969, he graduated from the then Southwest State Teachers College, San Marcos, Texas with a BA in History and a minor in both Geology and Anthropology. He also graduated from an advanced class from the US Air Force Academy in Foreign Affairs. After twenty-eight years of working for the United States Government, he retired and began writing Science Fiction and Fantasy commercial fiction books for the YA of Yesteryear. You can …moreDealing with writer’s block is a subject that I avoid. Let me clarify that for you. To me writer’s block is a slow down to writing your book. You can tackle it one of two ways, wait until you figure out how to finish your scene or what your next scene is, and then continue writing. This process takes too much time to complete so I think about it in the back of my mind, and move to another section of my story and write that. When I’m finished with the new scene or scenes, I have thought of a solution, return to my obstacle and rewrite it. (less)
