Was playing Sentinals of the Multiverse and had an idea to combine the deck building mechanics with a dungeon crawling game. Somewhat a mix of Dungeon Lords and Sentinals of the Multiverse. The more I thought about it and worked on the prototype I wondered about the flavor and history of what I was making.

The more backstory and world I created the more a story started to form. Eft NoToes starts forming in my mind and I liked his story but he was never the ambitious person. So the first book started. Elric was used as an introduction character.
