Originally from Toronto, I've had the amazing good fortune to live in seven countries. I have traversed the globe, explored its cultures and loved its people.

Along the way I've dabbled in television (speaking in a voice of great, if not totally misguided authority on prostates and breast implants), hosted a radio show for five years and worked in hotel management.

I've been treated to a remarkable assortment of adventures beginning with a shipwreck in the Caribbean on a tall-masted ship - yes I'm entitled to wear one earing. I've been blessed with an amazing array of friends and have known great romance. Any trials and tribulations have been easily offset by the hilarity of many experiences.

“All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.”
