Terrance Aldon Shaw has written four novels and nearly one-hundred short stories. His work has appeared in print, audio, and on-line publications, multiple-author anthologies, and literary magazines, as well as four self-published collections. "Inspiration" doesn't get books written, nor does it come like a divine spark from out of nowhere, nor does it "find" those who think they can sit and wait for it. The only way to write well is to work at it diligently every day, preferably maintaining a regular routine and schedule. Writing is hard work; being successful at it is even harder. Anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you a self-help book.
